A few minutes walk away is the lovely Dimitrie Ghica Park. 
This 19 acre park combines the beauty of nature with architectural art. The park is known as a place of contemplation and has many old majestic trees.
Nearby historic sites include a monastery and a castle within walking distance of the park.
Sinaia lies about 65 miles (105 km) north-northwest of Bucharest in the Prahova River valley, at the foot of Mount Furnica in the Bucegi Massif of the Transylvanian Alps (Southern Carpathians). It is easily accessible by train from Bucharest.
