Description
NEA has been producing curricula and teacher trainings, including: the Neohumanist Early Childhood Education Curriculum submitted to the government, diversity training during the “We all Have a Story” project, the “Children in Permaculture” teacher training, manual and other materials, Green Play and Learning and most recently the “Peace in Your Hands” package.
Background
NEA has developed specialised trainings that are ready for more widespread dissemination – in particular the “Children in Permaculture” trainings, but also trainings in diversity, trauma-informed approaches, Peace Education. We would like the Children in Permaculture approach to be integrated into the ecological education component of all NHE schools as well as to spread into public school education through the teacher training. I am interested in developing partnership projects both in Romania and on the EU level for scaling up best practices that we have developed, in order to have greater impact.
NEA began in 2011, in order to develop and submit a Neohumanist Education for approval as recognized national alternative, and to develop teacher trainings, materials and quality assurance on the national level. It has since provided a platform for networking and developing partnership projects to bring NHE into contact with other professionals in the field and to increase its impact.
