Description
Origins & Evolution: Founded in 2007 as Γnanda MΓ‘rga Yoga Academy (AMYA) through a collaboration between the Γnanda MΓ‘rga Yoga Society of Singapore (AMYS) and Γnanda MΓ‘rga Gurukula (AMGK). In 2010, it gained official academy status and was registered under SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). In 2018, it was renamed Γnanda MΓ‘rga International Academy (AMIA) to reflect its broader educational mission and global outlook.
Educational Philosophy: Rooted in the teachings of Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar, AMIA promotes a holistic education that integrates physical, mental, spiritual, and social development. The academy emphasizes intuitional science, yogic lifestyle, and social transformation through education.
Courses Offered
AMIA provides both short- and long-term programs, including: Certificate in Yoga Science, Practice, and Lifestyle (216 hours). Diploma in Yoga Science, Practice, and Lifestyle (216 hours) Certificate in PramΓ‘ Analysis (528 hours) β a unique course based on the Universal Law of Balance and Equilibrium, blending philosophy, psychology, and social science. It aims to train yoga teachers, PramΓ‘ analysts, and socially conscious leaders who can apply yogic principles in personal and societal contexts.
