
Alberta Pedroja, PhD is the Board Chair of the Neohumanist College of Asheville and occupies a staff position in Development. With support of the NHCA staff, she created a Development Program that uses Neohumanist principles to expand the community of support. Over the years Alberta worked as a Director of Quality Management for hospitals specializing in organizational development and systems design which she now applies in the not-for-profit sector assisting local organizations and planet-wide operations organizations to accomplish their respective missions. Her work in Africa addressed the strategic direction of a system of healthcare clinics whose work includes clean water and sanitation, medical care, and economic empowerment for widowed heads of households. She is a committed practitioner of meditation and yoga for over 50 years.
